Several Greenwood School District 50 facilities will serve as polling locations during the Tuesday, August 11, 2026 Special Election. 

District officials are working closely with the Greenwood County Voter Registration and Elections Office to ensure that voting operations run safely and sGreenwood School District 50 schools will serve as polling locations for the August 11 Special Election.moothly while maintaining normal instructional activities for students.

Because many voters will be visiting school campuses throughout the day, parents and guardians should anticipate potential increased traffic during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal times. Families are encouraged to allow additional travel time and exercise extra caution when entering and exiting school campuses.

School officials also ask voters to remain within designated voting areas and follow all posted signs and directions from election officials.

The following Greenwood School District 50 facilities will serve as polling locations:

  • Genesis Education Center

  • Rice Elementary School

  • Benjamin E. Mays Elementary School

  • Greenwood High School Performing Arts Center (GPAC)

  • G. Frank Russell Technology Center (RTC)

  • Emerald High School

  • Pinecrest Elementary School

  • Northside Middle School

  • Lakeview Elementary School

  • Mathews Elementary School

  • Brewer Middle School

  • Westview Middle School

For the convenience of families and voters, typical school arrival and dismissal times are listed below:

Elementary Schools

  • School Day: 7:50 a.m. – 2:40 p.m.

Middle Schools

  • School Day: 8:00 a.m. – 3:20 p.m.

High Schools

  • School Day: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
