Today, District 50 announced the relocation of the alternative school program to the building that currently houses the Early Childhood & Montessori School which is located at 1125 E Cambridge St. District 50’s alternative program is presently housed at Genesis Education Center. District 50 recently announced the Montessori program will be moving to Rice Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year.
“This relocation will provide our alternative program with a larger space to house our students in elementary, middle, and high school,” Superintendent Dr. Steve Glenn stated. “We believe this relocation will benefit our alternative program’s administrators, students, and staff. The district is currently evaluating and reviewing several items in regards to this transition and those will be announced in the future.”
The Instructional Services Center and Adult Education program will continue to be housed at 400 Glenwood St, Greenwood, SC 29649
