On May 12th, Greenwood School District 50’s 1st Year Teachers of the Year were honored at a virtual recognition ceremony. The event served as a time for 1st Year introduce themselves and view a highlight video from their induction year.
During the video, 2018-2019 District Teacher of the Year Lee Ann Starnes highlighted each 1st year Teacher of the Year and made the announcement of the district winner.
Westview Middle School teacher Amanda Cleveland was named as the 2020-2021 1st Year Teacher of the Year. In February, each 1st Year Teacher of the Year participated in interviews to determine the district winner.
