Doris Watson has been named as the Interim Principal at Pinecrest Elementary School. Watson has worked over 30 years as an director, principal, instructional specialist and teacher in Greenwood School District 50.

Greenwood School District 50 Announces Withdrawal of Recommended Choice & Magnet Program Changes

Today, Greenwood School District 50 announced that the recommended changes to choice & magnet programs will be withdrawn. These changes were recently under consideration by the Board of Trustees. After a careful review of the feedback received from the community and the lack of support from the Board of Trustees, the decision was made to withdraw the recommendation.
