During the May 2nd Board Work-session, Asst. Superintendent Rodney Smith shared a presentation on aid to classroom allocation. This served as the discussion of the meeting as D50 begins making preparations for the FY26 budget.

We are writing to inform you of a serious safety concern the South Carolina Department of Education has recently brought to our attention. Yesterday, our district received information regarding a growing online threat targeting pre-teens and teenagers across the state.

These teachers were selected as Teachers of the Year at their respective schools. We are so grateful for how they go above and beyond to teach the students of D50.
