Greenwood School District 50 is the largest school district in Greenwood County. D50 serves 9,145 students at 15 sites: 8 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, 2 high schools, a technology center, and one alternative center.

Mid-Year Graduation Ceremony

Mid-Year Graduation Ceremony Reminders

The Mid-Year Graduation Ceremony will be held later this evening at the Greenwood 50 Performing Arts Center. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., and the ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. A ticket must be presented at the door to gain entry, and a clear bag policy will be strictly enforced. The graduation ceremony will be live-streamed at gwd50.org/stream/.

Macke Named Assistant Superintendent of Business

D50 Names Andrew Macke Assistant Superintendent for Business

Following Monday’s Board of Trustees called meeting, Greenwood School District 50 announced Andrew Macke as the district’s new Assistant Superintendent for Business. Macke joins District 50 from Ninety Six School District, where he served as the Executive Director of Finance for the last four years.
